Illumination was created out of a meditation while utilizing a didgeridoo which had been hand-carved by a Shaman from Australia.
It was 12 ft long and the vibrations and sounds that came out of it was spiritual to say the least.My friend ( Joe Forsyth ) began to play the instrument, and I had set-up recording equipment so we could share in the experience later. As the music commenced, I had my guitar in hand and so I also began to play, all the while recording what came out of this journey of the senses. All the songs on this album are similar to this experience, as they were recorded em-prov so to speak and recorded directly to disc.
